James Gilbreth :
 
In a twenty year career ranging from the United States Army Special Forces to Children’s Hospital and Safeway Corporate offices in Pleasanton, James Gilbreth has focused on delivering information systems and services to users. In James’ own words, “I pride myself in delivering solutions and smiles to my customers.”

At Safeway HQ in Pleasanton from 2000-2008, James managed the support team responsible for network and desktop support to over 800 users at the corporate office.  When Safeway needed a complete system upgrade, James led the team that planned and executed the upgrade, delivering 99.8% connectivity at cut over. At Children’s Hospital and Clinics in Minneapolis, MN from 1998-2000, he designed and implemented the IT Help Desk Call Center, leading a service team of five people. His team developed and delivered training programs that increased first-call resolutions from 18% to 67%, an improvement of almost 50%.

Earlier, James proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant with the United States Army Special Forces, in Ft. Bragg, NC and Heidelberg, Germany. While in Germany he developed the personnel tracking and assignment database. Later, working with RAM, a contractor for the Army Reserve Command in Minneapolis, MN, James managed the Wide Area network while designing and implementing the IT Help Desk Call Center for a six state region.
 
Mark Tanis :
 
Mark Tanis moves quickly from conception to implementation of information systems that fit your needs precisely no matter the size of the project.

Mark is best known for his development of web-based information systems, with his first major success in 1994 leading a team that won a multi-billion dollar aerospace and defense contract. As vice president for a startup manufacturing company, he created a web-based "Customer Information Portal" that won new business and strengthened customer relationships. From Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation (SFA), Mark provides experience in enterprise resource management, document management, and product data management systems. With a solid understanding of project management and systems engineering principles, coupled with extensive experience with Microsoft based applications and networks, Mark is ready to execute a realistic solution for your business, based on your vision and requirements.

Mark earned his B.S. and M.S. in engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana campus. He broadened his educational background by earning an M.B.A. from the Claremont Graduate University and sharpened his IT skills while completing an M.S. in Applied Computer Science at Azusa Pacific University. Mark has published work on the subject of customer information portals. He also teaches part time at the University of Phoenix with an emphasis on effectively utilizing technology in business organizations.
